Over 50’s

There was an entry of 25 in this event which was a straight knockout starting with eight preliminary rounds to get to the last 16. Perhaps only one surprise result was Tommy Ryan from division two beating division one player Ben Armstrong. A couple of division two ties where Steve Hathaway beat John Foster and John Biggins beat Jimmy Hewitt. All of the other ties went the way of the player from the highest division.
