Carlton C started 2010 with a 7-3 win courtesy of 3 wins each for John Bostock & Steve Evans plus the doubles. All 3 Shawfield D players, Ashley Ingham, Andy Ingham & Barry Collier each beat Clive Roberts. Bury GSOB A players, Barry Warburton, Andy Evans & Martyn Warburton each won one but went down 7-3 to St Sebastians. Mark Stevens & David Hargreaves each won 3 for St Sebastians. Holmar A increased their lead over St Sebastians at the top with a 9-1 win over Maccabi D for whom Louis Samuels inflicted a defeat upon Phil Wardle. Prestwich F recorded a 7-3 win over Seedfield E with Rod Hughes & Alistair Wakefield both unbeaten. All 3 Seedfield players, Jonathan Fitton, Keith Stott & Ian McKenzie won one.

Shawfield G made a strong start to 2010 holding high flying Wardle B to 4-6. Joshua Fallows won 2 for Shawfield with Dean Walmsley & Lewis Bradley adding 1 each. Dave Watts won his 3 for Wardle with Phil Wardle winning 2 with a doubles win to complete the victory. Only Jim Murray could manage a victory for Seedfield G in their 1-9 defeat at the hands of ELPM D. For the victors both Mario Piazza & Laurence Paynter were unbeaten with Antony Vindice adding 2. Maccabi E won a close fought match 6-4 against Seedfield F. Four sets went to 5 games with Seedfeild winning 3 of them, 2 at the expense of Gary Freeman. Dave Tarver with 2 wins and Mike Ollerton & Jamie Howarth each taking 1 gained the points for Seedfield. Peter Canter won his 3 with Edward Freeman adding 2 for Maccabi.
