Semi Finals
In
the first semi Scott Fleming made use of his three point advantage despite
losing a close first game 10-12. Scot won the second by five to keep his lead
of six. Brain came back in the fourth to take two points of Scott but could not
keep up with his team mate in the last game when he lost by three and the match
by seven.
The
second semi was a father son duel and they were both level pegging at the
start. Barry lost ground straight away to his younger opponent losing 5-11 but
hit back in the next to win by three. James couldn’t be stopped and took the
next two games eight and seven to win by a comfortable ten points.
The Final
Club mate Scott had a five point advantage at the start of the match which he increased to nine after taking the first game 11-7. James came back in the second to win by five and a very tight third which James again won; 12-10. Scott was still two points ahead at this stage but James was just too strong in the last game to take it by seven points and winning the final by five.
