1             Matters arising

KC confirmed that the Rochdale Trophies are usable.

The Oldham supplier has gone out of business so with Oldham, Bolton and the Banks Leagues KC is looking for a new supplier but wants to maintain the high standard of trophies obtained last season.

KRW reported that there are 270 registered players on ETTA Connect.  This includes 28 from Ramsbottom Academy Members.  As an ETTA PremierClub ALL Members have to register with the ETTA.

One BGSOB player who has played this season hasn’t registered.  John Rowlands, BGSOB Club Secretary, has been informed that the player cannot play again until he obtains membership.

One Seedfield player who has only played once this season hasn’t registered.  IMc has not been able to contact him and is aware he cannot play until he has obtained membership.

Handbook invoice now paid.

Firefox website browser problem seems to have gone away.

The one Prestwich player will not play for the G team; just F and above.

2             Treasurers Report

GW circulated his report, see attached, last week.  All of the subscriptions, adverts and sponsorship money now received.  £140 invoice for L&CTT League being paid this week.

3             Hilton YMCA issue.

Hilton YMCA had to withdraw from the League the weekend before w/c 10th October because Barry Walsh could not get his players to play their away fixtures.  The same weekend KRW had a phone call from James Hewitt who has a team in the Bolton League and he had spoken to Barry offering to take over their team.  RH and KW agreed to their proposal.  Shawfield B’s home match with Hilton YMCA was the week w/c 3rd October.  This hadn’t been played so RH/KRW agreed for it to be played for double points.  After further discussion during the meeting it was agreed that Shawfield B could contact Hilton YMCA to see if they could find a date to play the missed Shawfield home fixture.

Action.  KRW to contact both teams for them to try to arrange Shawfield’s home fixture with Hilton YMCA.

4             Dwyer and Sponsors Cup

Handicap meeting, KC/KRW/BG Monday 5th December, to review handicaps for the first half of this season compared to all of last season.  Handicaps to be put on the website soon after the meeting.

KRW advised that Paul Wood from Ramsbottom Town/Ramsbottom Academy offered to present the Individual Handicap Calculations to his students as a project to see if it could be ‘automated’.  Paul is a teacher teaching A level Physics.

Action.  KRW to give KC contact detail of PW and he would speak to him.

5             Championships 2011/12

Sunday 25th March 2012 at the Radclyffe School, as last year.  Sub Committee of KRW/RH/GW to meet Tuesday 17th January 2012.  KC advised that SK would be available to run the championship on the day

Action.  KRW to contact SK to see if he is available for the meeting and to put the front page of the website inviting entries.
